Moers, 31.08.2011 The use of robust PDA with RFID reader functionality is now in modern applications of maintenance, logistics, inventory, equipment testing and gait and grant package delivery. The devices are very robust, have the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system (TPP-60-PD-HF also optional 2.1 on Android), are here to serve relatively small and simple. The PDAs are at very good price-performance ratio with a high-performance low-power processor and in addition to data collection capabilities using RFID in parallel with Barcode (1D laser scanner optional 2D CMOS imager) with radio data eGPRS (TPP-60-PD via HSDPA module), GSM / GPS and feature an integrated 3 megapixel autofocus LED flash and 2 megapixel CMOS camera, which can contribute to imaging documentation. The robust IP65 PDAs withstand drops from 1.8 m and 1.5 m drop onto concrete and are therefore ideal for outdoor use. The low weight facilitates the daily work and operation very much. Necessary accessories (vehicle mount, desktop charger / adapter, connection and cable, carrying case and belt as well as many other spare parts required for maintenance) is of course available.
Typical applications of PDAs with RFID lies in the maintenance of statutory periodic equipment inspection, also of fire doors, fire dampers and fire extinguishers, valves and gate valves, pipes and pumps, ladders and scaffolding and all electronic and other devices.
